Silbertal

From the Fernblick Hotel you have a wonderful view down into the Silbertal, which derives its name from mining and the silver and copper deposits.

The Kristbergbahn runs up from this sleepy place to the Kristberg where mining was already being carried out 1000 years ago. In the summer months the open air stage in Silbertal is one of the cultural highlights in the Montafon valley and, with an area of more than 20,000 m² and 450 covered seats, it is the largest open air theatre in Europe.
